NO TWO DAYS LOOK THE SAME.
From community interactions and fieldwork to team conversations, reflection and everyday moments, discover how Fellows experience their 23 months.
FIELD SUPPORT: LEARNING BY DOING
THE FIELD IS WHERE LEARNING MEETS REALITY.
The Gandhi Fellowship gives Fellows the opportunity to engage with public systems, government functionaries and communities to contribute to positive change while building their own capabilities as change leaders.
This work is called Field Support. It is a continuous process throughout the 23-month Fellowship, giving Fellows the practical space to apply what they learn, navigate real-world challenges, work with different stakeholders and understand the complexities of creating change.
What does Field Support look like?

Engaging with public systems
Understand how public systems work and engage with the people who are part of them.

Working with communities
Listen to community members, understand their contexts and engage with the challenges they experience.

Putting learning into practice
Apply the knowledge, skills and mindsets developed during the Fellowship to real-world situations.

Learning through action and reflection
Navigate unfamiliar situations, reflect on experiences and build the capabilities needed to contribute to change.
LEARNING BEYOND THE FIELD
THE FIELD IS ONE PART OF A MUCH BIGGER LEARNING JOURNEY.
Field Support is complemented by other curriculum processes that help Fellows build their Knowledge, Skills and Mindsets (KSM). Together, these processes create opportunities to learn, practise and reflect, shaping the overall Fellowship experience.
